Students at KPS Kadma Celebrate Parents with Traditional Rituals
KPS Kadma’s Matri Pitri Pujan Diwas, a unique event on 29th January 2024, celebrated Indian cultural values, strengthening family bonds and instilling respect and humility in students.
JAMSHEDPUR – The event that captivated hearts at KPS Kadma’s ground floor auditorium was not just another school function.
It was a profound display of Indian traditions and values, where students from Standard 3 to 9 celebrated Matri Pitri Pujan Diwas.
In an emotionally charged atmosphere, students performed traditional rituals to honor their parents.
These rituals, including offering tilak, garlands, and flowers, performing aarti, and sharing heartfelt sentiments, symbolized deep reverence and gratitude.
Manorama Nair, the respected Chairperson of the school, underlined the significance of parents in a child’s life, describing them as one of God’s greatest gifts.
Her speech resonated with the audience, emphasizing the event’s central theme: the enduring bond between children and parents.
The ceremony began with the students lighting a lamp and singing a welcome song that captivated everyone present.
