MP Bidyut Baran Mahato was honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award – 2024 in New Delhi, a recognition for notable achievements across various fields.

JAMSHEDPUR – On Wednesday in New Delhi, MP Bidyut Baran Mahato received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award – 2024, a significant honor in recognition of remarkable achievements.

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale presented the award, consisting of a citation and a medal, to MP Mahato.

Traditionally awarded for achievements in diverse fields, this year marks the first time the award has been extended to political figures, including ministers, MPs, and MLAs.

Along with Mahato, Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth was also a recipient of this accolade.

The organization recognized their active and notable contributions in their respective fields.

Expressing his gratitude, MP Mahato remarked that the award has infused him with new energy and inspiration, reaffirming his commitment to the development of his area and to public service.
