Bisangati Dutta and Shreya Paul Win Solo Dance Competition with Kathak

Students from Jamshedpur Women’s University, Bisangati Dutta and Shreya Paul, achieve top honors in a solo dance competition at Arka Jain University, showcasing their Kathak dance expertise.

JAMSHEDPUR – Two talented students from Jamshedpur Women’s University have emerged victorious in a solo dance competition held at Arka Jain University.

Bisangati Dutta, a third-year English Department student, and Shreya Paul, a first-year Commerce Department student, captivated the audience with their skillful Kathak performances.

Their proficiency in the traditional dance form is a result of dedicated training under the guidance of university dance coordinator, Sudha Singh Deep.

Bisangati Dutta’s exceptional performance earned her the first position in the competition, garnering praise and congratulations from the Vice Chancellor of Jamshedpur Women’s University, Prof Dr. Anjala Gupta.

The Vice Chancellor expressed immense pride in the achievements of these students, acknowledging the honor and recognition they have brought to the university.

Their success is a testament to the university’s commitment to nurturing artistic talents alongside academic pursuits, highlighting the diverse capabilities of its students.
