Tatanagar Station Awaits PM Modi to Flag Off 6 Vande Bharat Trains

JAMSHEDPUR – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to flag off six new Vande Bharat Express trains from Tatanagar railway station on September 15.

In preparation for this significant event, Tatanagar station has undergone extensive beautification, with Platform No. 1 receiving special attention to ensure a flawless setting for the inauguration.

The six Vande Bharat Express trains to be flagged off from Tatanagar include the Tata-Brahmapur Express, Tata-Patna Express, Deoghar-Varanasi Express, Rourkela-Howrah Express, Bhagalpur-Howrah Express, and the Gaya-Howrah Express.

These new trains represent a major step in improving connectivity and reducing travel times across critical routes in Eastern India.

The Tata-Brahmapur Vande Bharat Express (20892/20891) will operate six days a week, starting from Brahmapur at 05:15 and reaching Tatanagar by 14:20.

The return trip will begin at 14:50, with arrival at Brahmapur scheduled for 23:55.

The Tata-Patna Vande Bharat Express (20893/20894) is set to depart Tatanagar at 05:30 and reach Patna by 12:45, with the return service departing from Patna at 21:30 and arriving in Tatanagar at 04:00.

Additionally, the Deoghar-Varanasi, Rourkela-Howrah, Bhagalpur-Howrah, and Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Express trains will further strengthen rail connectivity between key cities.

On September 16, five more Vande Bharat Express trains will be flagged off from Ahmedabad, expanding the reach of this modern train service across India.

These services are part of the Indian Railways’ broader initiative to modernize its fleet and offer faster, more comfortable travel options to passengers.

A railway spokesperson commented, “The launch of these Vande Bharat Express trains from Tatanagar marks a significant milestone in enhancing connectivity across major routes in Eastern India.”

The introduction of these trains is expected to provide a substantial boost to the region’s transportation network, reducing travel time and improving passenger convenience.
