Kerala Samajam Wins Maths Quiz at D.B.M.S English School
Number Ninjas Event Sees High School Maths Talent Shine in Jamshedpur
Kerala Samajam Model School clinched victory at the 6th Inter School Maths Quiz Contest, “Number Ninjas,” hosted by D.B.M.S English School, showcasing exceptional mathematical prowess among students.
JAMSHEDPUR – The School Management Committee, along with Principal Rajani Shekhar and Vice-Principal P. K. Sahu, played a pivotal role in the success of the “Number Ninjas” Maths Quiz, fostering an environment of learning and competition.
Their leadership and support were instrumental in organizing the event, which saw Kerala Samajam Model School secure first place with a remarkable 65 points.
The intense competition featured Sacred Heart Convent School, which earned a commendable second place with 50 points.
In third place, Hill Top School demonstrated notable skill, achieving 31 points in the contest.
Students from various schools displayed their numerical and problem-solving abilities in five rounds of challenging questions.
The finals saw participation from six esteemed schools, including Loyola School and Motilal Nehru Public School.
Quiz master Vinay Mudalyiar, celebrated for his television appearances and the Mindcogs venture, led the event, testing students from Std. VII & VIII.
Bhanumathi Neelakantan’s initiative brought together 18 schools in the preliminary round, with six advancing to the finals, making “Number Ninjas” a memorable event.
The event, held on Thursday, was a testament to the enthusiasm and talent in mathematical skills among young students in Jamshedpur.
