Kerala Samajam Model School Offers Retest for Class 9 and 11

SDO Dhalbhum Mediates Talks Between School Management and Parents

Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) in Golmuri has decided to provide an opportunity for students who failed in class 9 and class 11 examinations to retake the tests and get promoted to class 10 and class 12, following discussions between the school management and parents, facilitated by SDO Dhalbhum Parul Singh.

JAMSHEDPUR – Principal Nandini Shukla will convene all concerned parties after a three-day period to determine the timing of the retests, which will be conducted within a month, giving students at least 15 days to prepare.

The decision to offer retests came after protests from parents and students, with SDO Parul Singh stepping in to facilitate dialogue and resolve the issue. The school management promptly accepted the parents‘ request for retests, aiming to secure their children’s future from uncertainty.

Meeting Scheduled for Concerned Students

KSMS has scheduled a meeting for the concerned students on Thursday at 8 am, where study details and retest arrangements will be provided. The school has also assured additional classes for disadvantaged students, with SDO Singh motivating them to excel in their studies.

Parents Express Gratitude for Resolution

Bablu Jha, representing the parents, expressed thanks to SDO Parul Singh, KSMS Management Chairman KPG Nair, and Principal Nandini Shukla for their efforts in resolving the issue. Dharmendra Sonkar, Executive District President of East Singhbhum District Congress Committee, also played a pivotal role in the resolution.
