JAMSHEDPUR – Jharkhand has experienced a dry weather spell in the last 24 hours, accompanied by light to moderate fog.
Chaibasa recorded the highest maximum temperature, while Deoghar witnessed the lowest minimum in the state.
Significant weather changes are anticipated across Jharkhand, including the Kolhan region, starting Wednesday.
Meteorologists predict rain accompanied by clouds and dense fog.
On Tuesday, Jamshedpur recorded a maximum temperature of 26.7°C and a minimum of 11.6°C.
Ranchi, the state capital, marked its minimum at 11°C, similar to Jamshedpur and Daltenganj.
Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 7°C to 11°C, with rural areas experiencing a further 2-3°C drop compared to urban locales.
Dr. Abhishek Anand from the Weather Center Ranchi forecasts dry conditions for January 2.
Partly cloudy skies are anticipated in north-western areas on January 3.
The forecast from January 4 to 6 indicates rain, starting in north-western regions like Palamu, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar, Lohardaga.
January 5 may bring rain to western and central areas, with the entire state expecting rainfall by January 6.
The foggy conditions are set to persist throughout this period.
