Cooler temperatures and rainfall mark a change in weather across the region
Intermittent rain and cooler temperatures offer a respite from the heat in Jharkhand, with the Meteorological Department issuing a yellow alert for continued cloudy conditions.
RANCHI – The Meteorological Department’s Ranchi Centre anticipates the persistence of cloudy skies across Jharkhand, including potential drizzle in districts like Simdega, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, Giridih, and Dhanbad on Friday.
A yellow alert has been issued to the residents of Jharkhand, urging them to stay cautious amid forecasted cloudy conditions and possible drizzles.
In Jamshedpur, a total of 0.2 mm of rainfall was measured from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, contributing to the day’s cooler weather.
Thursday saw the maximum temperature in Jamshedpur reaching 24.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature dropped to 14.6 degrees Celsius, underscoring the day’s chill.
The weather in the Kolhan region, including Jharkhand, experienced a significant shift with intermittent rain leading to a notable decrease in temperatures after a cloudy morning and alternating periods of sunshine and shade throughout the afternoon.
