Unidentified Body Found Near Subarnarekha Riverbank in Jamshedpur’s Indiranagar

Tattooed body sparks murder suspicion; police probe underway in Bhuiyadih.

Key Points:

  • A body with distinct tattoos was discovered near Indranagar’s riverbank.

  • Police suspect murder but await the postmortem report for confirmation.

  • Locals report rising anti-social activities in the secluded area.

JAMSHEDPUR – An unidentified body was found on Monday morning near the riverbank at Bhuiyadih, Indira Nagar, in the Sitaramdera police jurisdiction. The discovery sent shockwaves through the area as locals spotted the body and informed the police, who promptly arrived at the scene and began an investigation.

The deceased had a tattoo of a trident and a drum (damru) on one hand, but their identity remains unknown. Initial observations by authorities have raised suspicions of foul play, but confirmation awaits the postmortem results.

Residents in the area expressed concerns over growing anti-social activities in the isolated locality. Many believe the lack of monitoring makes it a hub for unlawful acts. “The area has become unsafe, and we need strict policing here,” a local stated.

Meanwhile, the police have urged citizens to come forward with any information that might assist in identifying the deceased or solving the case. The body has been sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities are intensifying patrols and investigating leads to ensure justice is served.
