JAMSHEDPUR – Leaders from Jharkhand marked Hindi Diwas with unity messages.
Prominent politicians greeted citizens and highlighted Hindi’s cultural strength. Health Minister Banna Gupta said Hindi represents values, emotions, and national spirit. According to him, Hindi embodies discipline, self-reliance, and devotion.
He tweeted: “Hindi is not just a language, it is culture, character, expression, behavior, we can say that the whole nation exists because of Hindi.
Hindi is not a language but an expression of feelings, it is love, respect, self-reliance, loyalty and dedication towards the motherland.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Babulal Marandi wished the nation well on Hindi Diwas. He urged citizens to contribute to the growth of the simple and unifying language.
He wrote on X: “Happy Hindi Diwas to all countrymen! Contribute to the prosperity of Hindi, a simple and easy language that binds the country together.”
On the other hand, MP Sanjay Seth described Hindi as the voice of communication. He added that it strengthens unity and reflects Indian values. He also appealed for greater daily use of Hindi.
He wrote: “It is as simple as it is natural. Hindi is the pulse of mass communication; Hindi is the salutation to Mother India. For us, Hindi is not just a language. It is a culture that gives us a sense of national unity along with our life values and traditions. By using Hindi as much as possible in our daily activities, we can strengthen our unity even more. The day was observed across India with official programs and cultural events. Schools, colleges, and offices organized functions to celebrate the language.

Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on September 14. It marks the day in 1949 when Hindi was adopted as the official language.
