Jharkhand’s weather patterns are expected to shift once again, with the Meteorological Department predicting light rain and thunderstorms in eastern, southern, and central parts of the state on May 21.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Meteorological Department has forecasted changes in weather patterns for Jharkhand, indicating the possibility of light rain with thunderstorms in several regions on May 21.
The impact of this weather change will be observed in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Giridih, Ramgarh, Lohardaga, Ranchi, Gumla, and Khunti districts.
There is also a likelihood of strong winds accompanied by thunder and lightning in some areas on May 21, with wind speeds reaching 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.
Additionally, light rain is expected at isolated places in the state on May 23 and 24.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms in the northeastern, southern, and adjacent central parts of the state on May 19 and 20, with wind speeds between 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
These weather conditions will affect East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Lohardaga, Ranchi, Gumla, and Khunti districts.
Heat wave conditions are expected on May 19 in Garhwa, Palamu, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, and Sahibganj districts, and on May 20 in Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Deoghar, and Giridih districts.
