RANCHI – Meteorological Department predicts rain and thunderstorms across Jharkhand, with cooler temperatures in Kolhan.

Jamshedpur experienced a day under cloudy skies and intermittent drizzles, marking a shift in the region’s weather patterns.

The temperature drop was notable across the Kolhan region, with East Singhbhum at 29.2°C, West Singhbhum at 25.4°C, and Seraikela Kharsawan at 28.5°C.

Forecasts for the western parts of Jharkhand indicate rain and thunderstorms, particularly affecting areas like Garhwa, Palamu, and others on Tuesday.

The Meteorological Department anticipates light to moderate rainfall in the southern and central regions on Wednesday, expanding to include East Singhbhum and neighboring districts.

Additionally, there’s a likelihood of rain with thunderstorms on April 11, with wind speeds expected to reach 30 to 40 km/h during this period.

This weather transition contributes to a cooler atmosphere in the region, as residents and officials monitor the situation closely.
