Surprise Raids Cause Flutter Among Adityapur Hotel Operators

Adityapur Hotels Flouting Rules in Panic after Surprise SDO-Led Raids

Adityapur’s Oyo hotels face scrutiny as SDO-led raids reveal underage guests and guideline violations, sparking administrative concern and public discomfort.

ADITYAPUR – The Adityapur area has witnessed a stringent crackdown on hotel operations, particularly targeting Oyo establishments, following alarming revelations during a series of raids.

Under the guidance of Seraikela SDM Parul Singh and DSP Chandan Vats, the administrative focus shifted towards these hotels after a disturbing incident at a local hotel.

Authorities conducted extensive searches across multiple hotels, including that particular Hotel, scrutinizing guest identities and compliance with operational guidelines.

During these raids, authorities discovered numerous local school and college girls in the company of young men, some even in school uniforms, raising serious concerns about the misuse of hotel services.

In one particularly concerning case, a minor girl from class 9 was found in a hotel with a young man, captured on the hotel’s CCTV.

This incident has cast a spotlight on the worrying trend of hotels catering to young couples, often flouting rules and charging exorbitant fees.

The Oyo hotels in Adityapur, known for accommodating love-struck couples, have become a hotspot for questionable activities, including liquor parties and even serious crimes like murder.

Local residents have expressed discomfort due to the frequent presence of couples in these hotels, often situated in residential areas and markets.

Administrative officials are now grappling with strategies to effectively regulate and monitor these hotels to prevent further misuse and ensure adherence to guidelines.

The sudden enforcement actions have sent shockwaves through a section of the hotel industry in Adityapur, with some operators now anxious about the implications for their business.
