Jamshedpur Hosts Mega Blood Donation Camp on Phule's Anniversary
Joint Effort by Mali Malakar Kalyan Samiti and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Welfare Trust Marks Eventful Day
Jamshedpur witnesses a major blood donation camp, organized on Mahatma Jyotiba Phule’s death anniversary, attracting key political figures and community leaders.
JAMSHEDPUR – A significant blood donation camp was organized at the Jamshedpur Blood Bank.
The event was a collaboration between Mali Malakar Kalyan Samiti and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Welfare Trust.
It commemorated the death anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.
Jharkhand’s Health Minister Mr. Banna Gupta, along with former state minister Mr. Ramchandra Sahis and BJP leaders, inaugurated the camp.
The program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Mahatma Phule.
Mr. Gupta emphasized his ongoing support for the community.
Mr. Sahis acknowledged Mahatma Phule’s role in his personal journey.
BJP leader Mr. Vikas Singh highlighted Phule’s global impact as a social reformer.
Proposals for installing Phule’s statue in Jamshedpur were discussed.
Dignitaries from various political parties, including BJP, AAP, and Congress, participated and motivated the donors.
The event saw active involvement from Jharkhand State General Secretary of Malakar Samaj and other prominent members.
A total of 71 individuals donated blood, contributing to the camp’s success.
The program was smoothly conducted by Mukesh Kumar Mantu.
Yamuna Prabhakar, the Trust’s President, delivered the vote of thanks.
