Garhwa police bust mini-gun factory, 7 arrested

Garhwa: The Garhwa district police have busted a big mini-gun making network. The police have also arrested 7 persons involved in making and selling of mini-guns. 19 weapons, including made-in-China pistols and 106 live cartridges were also seized.

The SP of Garhwa Shrikant S Rao said in a press conference that the weapons from this illegal factory used to be supplied to different parts of Jharkhand.

The police have recovered a made-in-china pistol, two country-made revolvers, 5 desi katas, one country-made pistol, 3 desi revolvers, 1 airgun, 53 live 8.32 bore cartridges, 3 live 5.56 bore cartridges, 2 live .380 cartridges and 38 live 7.56 bore cartridges along with 8 cartridges for Chinese pistol, 1.25 lakh rupees in cash and 2 smartphones.
