JAMSHEDPUR – Suman Nayak, a 30-year-old resident of Bankati village in Mauda Panchayat, Baharagora, suffered a ligament tear in his knee due to an accident.
An orthopedic specialist in Odisha had advised surgery, estimating the cost to be around Rs 1.4 lakh, an amount Suman’s family could not afford.
Unable to proceed with the surgery, Suman’s family reached out to BJP leader Gaurav Pushti for assistance.

Along with Suman, Shantanu Nayak and Virendra Nayak were also present at the hospital during the admission.
Gaurav Pushti stated, "We are grateful for MP Mahto’s swift response and support, ensuring Suman receives the necessary medical treatment."
The timely intervention by the MP and local leaders brought relief to Suman’s family, who were deeply concerned about his health and future.
This act of support highlights the importance of community and political leaders in addressing urgent healthcare needs.
