‘Paridhaan’ Steals the Show at Jamshedpur’s Theater Festival

Paridhaan, a vibrant fashion and dance showcase, captivated audiences on the theater festival’s second day.

JAMSHEDPUR – The grand ‘Paridhaan’ event marked the culmination of the theater festival in Jamshedpur, organized jointly by DATE (Dramatic Association of Tata Employees) and Singhbhum District Sahitya Sammelan at Tulsi Bhawan.

‘Paridhaan’ featured a fashion parade by local artists in Indian attire, starting with a Ganesh Vandana dance by Soni and Anita.

15 teams then presented a series of group dances, including Nataraja dance led by Smrika Mishra, local dances by Aasman Group and Ghunghru team (headed by Ms. Jarita of TISCO Urban Centre), Sumant Dance team’s performance, Chhattisgarhi dance by Uday and Ram Sahu, Zumba dance by Madhu Singh, and a fashion show by graduate college students.

The event also screened two short films, ‘Fark’ and ‘Chhodo Na Yaar,’ at the beginning.

Corona warriors were specially honored, with recognitions given to Anjani Kumar Singh from Bistupur police station, Raghuvansh Mani Singh from News Dhamaka, and Seema Sarkar from Tata Main Hospital.

Distinguished guests like Chief Guest Arun Tiwari, Nand Kumar Singh, Hari Mittal, and Prosenjit Tiwari graced the event.

Anuj Kumar and Shringarik hosted the program, which concluded with the distribution of mementos and certificates to all participating teams and individuals.
