Cash, Jewelry Worth Lakhs Stolen from Sakchi’s Shiv Shakti Jewelers, Police Investigate

Burglary at Shiv Shakti Jewelers in Jamshedpur; Owner Reports Massive Loss

Thieves target Shiv Shakti Jewelers in Sakchi, Jamshedpur, stealing cash and jewelry worth lakhs.

JAMSHEDPUR – A major burglary occurred at Shiv Shakti Jewelers, located near the Shitala Temple under Sakchi police station, Jamshedpur.

The shop operator, Satya Dutta, reported the incident, stating a significant loss of cash and jewelry.

Upon opening his shop on Saturday morning, Dutta discovered a scene of disarray with scattered goods and missing jewelry.

Additionally, a bag containing Rs 50,000 in cash was also reported missing.

Following the discovery, Dutta promptly informed the police, who arrived at the scene to commence their investigation.

One of the primary focuses of the investigation is the examination of CCTV footage from nearby cameras, which could provide crucial leads in identifying the perpetrators.

Dutta, a resident of Kalikanagar in Mango, informed that he and his family had been away in their village Bankura during Kali Puja and had only returned on Friday evening.

The theft was discovered the next morning.

According to his account, the thieves gained entry by breaking through the ventilator.

The estimated loss, as reported by the shop owner, includes jewelry worth about Rs 8 lakh along with the cash.

The police are investigating the case, gathering evidence, and working to track down those responsible for this significant theft.
