Thieves Strike Shops in Parsudih, Police Investigate

Theft at Local Shops Prompt Security Concerns in Parsudih

In a concerning spree of thefts, two shops in Parsudih have been targeted by thieves, leading to the loss of cash and goods, while a third attempt was foiled, drawing attention to security measures in the area.

JAMSHEDPUR – Thieves made off with ₹22,000 in cash and various items from Ajanta Confectionery, alongside ₹6,000 and packets of biscuits from Nanda’s shop, marking a distressing night for local business owners in Parsudih.

An attempted burglary at Ram Prasad Singh’s clothing store was thwarted, as the thieves failed to break the lock, sparing the shop from a similar fate.

Upon notification, Parsudih police swiftly responded, initiating an investigation into the incidents and securing CCTV footage that captured the thieves in action.

The acquired footage has bolstered hopes among local residents and shop owners that the culprits will soon be apprehended.

However, the community has raised concerns over what they perceive as inadequate patrolling by Parsudih police, attributing the rise in theft incidents to this shortfall in law enforcement vigilance.

The Parsudih police’s investigation, aided by crucial CCTV evidence, is underway, aiming to address both the immediate crimes and broader security challenges facing the area.
