Srinath College Organizes Educational Trek to Dalma

B. Ed Trainees Experience Nature and Learn Valuable Skills on Dalma Trek

Srinath College’s Sports Department and NSS Unit lead a fruitful trekking expedition to Dalma for B. Ed trainees.

JAMSHEDPUR – A group of B. Ed session 2023-‘25 trainees embarked on a trekking journey to Dalma.

The expedition was led by College Sports Instructor Suryajeet Singh and Assistant Professor Binay Shandilya.

Starting early, the trainees made their initial stop at the Ganesh temple for a brief rest.

By 10:00 am, the group successfully reached the peak of Dalma.

At the summit, essential trekking insights were shared, focusing on pre-trek preparation and safety.

The importance of connecting with nature and conserving it was emphasized.

Trainees were taught camping skills, including how to set up tents effectively.

NSS volunteers spearheaded cleanliness drives at each stop, promoting environmental stewardship.

The return journey concluded at 3 pm, marking the end of a day full of learning and adventure.
