Deoghar Hospital Gets Advanced Diagnostic Machines

New Equipment to Improve Affordable Healthcare Access

Key Points:

  • CSR funding provides X-ray and Doppler machines
  • Complex tests now available at government rates
  • Patients from Santhal region to benefit

DEOGHAR – Deoghar Sadar Hospital has received advanced diagnostic machines to improve affordable healthcare access for patients.

The district administration has continued efforts to upgrade facilities. Meanwhile, new medical equipment has been installed at the hospital.

A digital 500 mA X-ray machine has been introduced. Moreover, a color Doppler ultrasound system has also been added.

These machines were provided under CSR funding support. However, the initiative aims to modernize public healthcare services.

Deputy Commissioner Naman Priyesh Lakra inaugurated the machines. Meanwhile, officials emphasized improved diagnostic capabilities.

Patients can now undergo complex tests locally. Moreover, examinations of heart, abdomen, and blood vessels are possible.

Earlier, such tests required visits to private hospitals. However, patients often faced high costs for diagnostics.

Now, quality tests will be available at government-approved rates. Meanwhile, this reduces financial burden on patients.

The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the administration’s healthcare goals. Moreover, he stressed affordable services for all residents.

He instructed officials to ensure proper maintenance of machines. Meanwhile, smooth operation was also emphasized.

He assured further development in the hospital infrastructure. Moreover, future upgrades are planned for better services.

The Civil Surgeon received assurance of continued support. Meanwhile, efforts will target underserved communities.

Patients from nearby districts will also benefit. Moreover, the hospital serves as a regional healthcare center.

Residents of Pakur, Sahibganj, Godda, Dumka, and Jamtara rely on it. However, access to advanced diagnostics was limited earlier.

With new machines, healthcare access will improve significantly. Meanwhile, poor patients are expected to benefit most.
