JAMSHEDPUR – Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has openly expressed his admiration for the Gotilo song’s vibrant performer, Aditya Gadhvi.

In a recent social media exchange, the Prime Minister reminisced about a significant exchange he had with the folk singer.

The Modi story X platform shared a captivating video where Aditya Gadhvi recounted his unique encounter with Shri Modi during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

The folk sensation did not hold back in lauding the Prime Minister’s leadership qualities.

In a heartfelt social media post responding to the X account of Modi Story, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “Khalasi is topping the charts and Aditya Gadhvi is winning hearts for his music. This video brings back memories from a special interaction…”

Aditya Gadhvi, hailing from Gujarat, has earned his stripes as a prominent playback singer and lyricist across various Indian languages.

His contributions have not just been limited to Gujarati cinema’s scores but have also spanned several successful singles.

His discography includes chartbusters like Khalasi, Rang Morla, and the anthem for the cricket team Gujarat Titans, ‘Aava De’, amongst others.

Gadhvi’s accolades include triumphs in reality shows like “E-Tv Lok Gayak Gujarat” and his voice featured in two songs from ‘Kamasutra 3D’, which were in the race for Oscar nominations in 2014.

At a young age, his victory on “Lok Gaayak Gujarat” paved the way for performances across Gujarat and international locales such as Hong Kong.

His voice was also chosen to echo the essence of Gujarat in the Republic Day Parade tableau, an event graced by dignitaries like the US President and the Indian Prime Minister.

Moreover, Gadhvi has shared the stage with music maestro A.R. Rahman and contributed to Bollywood soundtracks.

In a spectacular performance, he sung the Gujarat Titans anthem ‘Aava De’ live at the Narendra Modi Stadium during the IPL 2023.

His international presence includes a series of concerts in the USA and Canada, and he’s on the bill for the newly inaugurated Coke Studio Bharat.

Gadhvi’s chart-topping hits like ‘Sharato Lagu’, ‘Hellaro’, and ‘Love Ni Bhavai’ have firmly established his popularity.

A testament to his widespread appeal, Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has grooved to his Navratra festival performance of “Dakla.”
