Biswajit Sengupta, a 70-year-old senior advocate at Jamshedpur Court and resident of Sonari Sangam Bihar, has unexpectedly passed away.
In recent days, Sengupta had been grappling with kidney-related health issues.
Tragically, he breathed his last on Friday while undergoing treatment at the local Brahmanand Hospital.
The Jamshedpur Bar Association, deeply affected by this loss, expressed their grief in a unique manner.
On Saturday, the association’s lawyers chose to abstain from judicial proceedings during the second shift.
This gesture served as a mark of respect and mourning for their departed colleague.
It is worth noting that Sengupta had remained unmarried throughout his life.
