Late-Night Collision on New Bridge Under Seraikela Police Jurisdiction Turns Deadly for Two Nua Village Residents

In a tragic accident that unfolded late last night under Seraikela police jurisdiction, one teen was killed while an adult sustained severe injuries after their bike collided with a bridge divider.

SERAIKELA – Two youths from Nua Village were gravely injured when their bike crashed into the divider of a newly constructed bridge.

The accident occurred late last night and falls under the purview of the Seraikela police station.

Rohit Vanra, 17, succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead upon arrival at Sadar Hospital.

Deepak Gagrai, 35, who was riding the bike, is undergoing treatment for serious injuries.

The duo had visited the Seraikela fair and were on their way back home when the fateful incident took place.

According to eyewitnesses, both individuals lay unattended on the road for hours after the accident.

It was passersby who alerted the Seraikela police, who then rushed the injured to Sadar Hospital for immediate medical attention.
