As Dengue Cases Rise to 1251 in Kolhan Division, East Singhbhum District Reports 52 New Recoveries

Rise in dengue cases in East Singhbhum district with 8 new patients, even as 52 make full recovery.

JAMSHEDPUR – East Singhbhum district reported 8 new cases of dengue Monday, increasing concerns over the spreading vector-borne disease.

The new dengue positive cases come from various localities including Kadma, Golmuri, Sakchi, Mango and Baridih.

Simultaneously, the district administration reported the discharge of 52 patients, indicating a significant recovery rate.

As of today’s sample test, 8 individuals were confirmed as dengue positive, bringing the total number of cases to 1251 in the Kolhan division.

Currently, 181 people are undergoing treatment for dengue in the hospital, with 12 in the Intensive Care Unit and 169 in the general ward.

The cumulative figure for dengue tests conducted in the region stands at 9,731, according to official reports.
