Tata Steel UISL Spearheads Community Wellness With State-of-the-Art Fitness Zones at Uliyan Flats, Kadma and Baridih Postal Park-II
In a bid to foster healthier communities, Tata Steel UISL inaugurates top-notch fitness zones in Jamshedpur’s Uliyan Flats, Kadma and Baridih areas.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Urban Infrastructure and Smart Services (UISL) has inaugurated state-of-the-art fitness zones in Uliyan Flats, Kadma and Baridih Postal Park-II today.
The move aims to uplift the quality of life for the residents of these localities.
Top executives and dignitaries graced the grand inauguration ceremony.

Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, and Capt. Dhananjay Mishra, Senior General Manager, Town O&M and RE, were among those present.
Union leaders like Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, President, Tata Workers’ Union, and Raghunath Pandey, President, JUSCO Shramik Union, were also present to underline the collaborative nature of this community-centric initiative.
The Uliyan Flats fitness zone spans a remarkable 5760 sqm, with a dedicated fitness area of 2065 sqm.
It is equipped with 15 open gym equipment pieces and 3 pull-up bars.
Additionally, it offers a children’s play area of 1450 sqm featuring various recreational amenities.
Baridih Postal Park-II encompasses an area of 5000 sqm and was similarly inaugurated by the dignitaries.
The park includes a yoga area and open gym facilities.
It also stands out for its eco-friendly initiatives such as tree relocation and plantation.
A company communique said that both zones are a part of Tata Steel UISL’s broader commitment to community well-being, health, and leisure.
