Sakchi Hotel Discovers Guest with Burn Injuries; Police Investigate

An East Plant Basti resident found with burn injuries at Hotel Chandra in Sakchi; transported to TMH for emergency treatment; Sakchi police station investigates the incident.

JAMSHEDPUR – A Sakchi Hotel made a horrifying discovery when East Plant Basti resident R Gupta was found in burned condition.

Following the information, hotel management quickly transported him to TMH for emergency treatment.

His health remains serious, and doctors are closely monitoring his condition.

Sakchi police station in-charge Sanjay Kumar stated he had no prior knowledge of the incident but has since launched an investigation.

It was revealed that R Gupta was staying with a woman friend from Mayurbhanj. They were in hotel room 103 at the time of the incident.

He had stayed at this hotel in June earlier too, making him a known guest.

Gupta’s friends alerted the hotel around 5 am Friday to report the occurrence, prompting the immediate response.

R Gupta had his birthday on August 15.

He is now fighting for his life as the police continue to probe the circumstances leading to his injury.
