Victim’s Family Urges Action After Jamshedpur Assault, Police Respond
In a swift reaction to an assault in Jamshedpur, SSP Kaushal Kishore has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident involving a 21-year-old local. The youth, identified as K Naredi, reportedly allegedly faced a brutal attack by a group of individuals who later recorded the ordeal.
JAMSHEDPUR – Following allegations of an unsettling assault captured on video in Bistupur, authorities have sprung into action. The victim K Naredi, while out with friends, was forcibly taken to a nearby location where he was stripped and beaten.
The assault, which took place on April 26, saw Naredi and his friends approached by a group of more than ten individuals. They allegedly attacked him and then transported him to Jugsalai.
There, the victim was subjected to further violence on a terrace, where the aggressors filmed the incident. They threatened to distribute the video widely if he sought police assistance.
Naredi managed to escape and inform his relatives about the incident. Despite multiple visits to the local police by the family, their complaints initially went unheard.
The victim’s family, led by East Singhbhum District Marwari Conference President Mukesh Mittal, escalated the matter to SSP Kishore.
The senior police officer directed the Bistupur police, CCR, and DSP to look into the case and take necessary actions against the suspects involved.
