Minister Champai Soren Hoists National Flag in Seraikela Birsa Munda Stadium

Jharkhand’s development journey took center stage as Minister Champai Soren hoisted the national flag on the 77th anniversary of independence.

SERAIKELA – The Independence Day function in Seraikela was held at Birsa Munda Stadium. Minister Champai Soren hoisted the tricolor and inspected the parade.

Minister Soren, Tribal Welfare cum Transport Minister, was welcomed by Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla and SP Dr. Vimal Kumar.

He then inspected the parade and paid tribute to the great martyrs of the country.

Highlighting the country’s multilingual nature and the beauty of democracy, he emphasized India’s unity.

He spoke of Jharkhand’s rich mineral resources but lamented the backwardness of its rural areas.

Plans are afoot to set up model schools in 8000 panchayats to enhance rural education.

A state-wide campaign under young Chief Minister Hemant Soren is bridging villages with cities.

Employment provision and land accumulation for artificial irrigation are on the agenda.

The district will benefit from a new 100-bed hospital, addressing healthcare needs.

Minister Soren celebrated the state’s economic recovery and efforts to preserve cultural heritage.

Large-scale appointments are in progress, and multiple schemes for tribal-natives are being introduced.

He praised the Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar program and the administration’s efforts to reach the grassroots.

A decisive step towards tribals and indigenous people’s rights over mineral resources was also announced.

Anti-drug initiatives were also part of the celebration, including the release of an anti-narcotics calendar and the flagging off of a campaign chariot.
