Intensive checking and testing drive under Operation Mask in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum administration has taken several steps to prevent second wave of coronavirus in the district. With a view to making a fresh attempt at preventing spread of the disease, the district administration has launched an intensive masking and testing drive in the city.

In several busy areas of the city, people roaming around without masks are being caught and they are being tested for coronavirus.

On Saturday too, an intensive mask checking and testing drive was carried out at Sakchi Chowk Bazar. A large number of people roaming around without masks were apprehended and then made to go through testing for coronavirus.

Several people resisted the checking and advice to get themselves checked. However, no mercy was shown and all those who were caught without masks were forced to go through testing process.

Although, coronavirus is on the decline for now, there is a possibility of a resurge in the district. To thwart any such possibility, the district administration is sparing no efforts to ensure that the people are accustomed to wear masks in public places and more and more people are made to go through the test drive.
