GAMHARIA – A massive fire broke out late Friday night at the vegetable market operated by Adityapur Municipal Corporation in Gamharia, reducing over 20 shops to ashes. Local residents alerted the vendors, but by the time they reached the spot, most shops had been destroyed.

Shopkeepers reported that the fire department and police arrived late and only completed formalities without offering substantial help.
