JAMSHEDPUR – BJP Golmuri Mandal president and advocate Vaidhyanath Upadhyay, also known as Pappu Upadhyay, was assaulted by a group of youths near the new MGM Hospital building in Jamshedpur. The attack left him with serious injuries.

He sustained a deep head wound during the assault and was immediately admitted to MGM Hospital for treatment. Doctors are currently attending to him at the facility.

The incident sparked anger among party workers, who rushed to the hospital in large numbers after hearing the news. Local residents reported that the assault happened suddenly, without warning.

However, the motive behind the attack remains unclear. Police have started an investigation and are working to identify the assailants.
