CRPF Jawan Martyred in Fierce Encounter with Naxalites in West Singhbhum District

A fierce encounter in West Singhbhum district between security forces and Naxalites resulted in the martyrdom of CRPF jawan Sushant Kumar, with another soldier injured.

CHAIBASA – A fierce encounter broke out between security forces and Naxalites in West Singhbhum district, leading to the martyrdom of a soldier.

CRPF 60 Battalion jawan Sushant Kumar, who was injured during the confrontation, was martyred during an operation against the Naxalite Misir Besra squad, with a reward of one crore.

During the encounter, two soldiers of CRPF 60 Battalion, Sushant Kumar and Munna Kumar, were injured in the firing by Naxalites.

Both of them were immediately airlifted to Medica Hospital in Ranchi for better treatment.

The jawan from Odisha, Sushant Kumar, died as a result of his injuries, while the injured jawan Munna Kumar sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

Sushant Kumar had sustained bullet injury in the chest, marking a tragic loss for the security forces.
