PM Lays Foundation for Beautification of 508 Rail Stations Including Rajkharsawan
PM announces INR 5.271k Cr Amrit Railway Station scheme, aiming to beautify 508 stations, including Rajkharsawan.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Sunday, the Prime Minister of India laid the foundation for the beautification of 508 railway stations across the country.
This ambitious project, known as the Amrit Railway Station scheme, is expected to cost approximately INR 5.271 thousand crore.
The scheme is to be implemented through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode, and Rajkharsawan railway station of Chakradharpur division is included in this initiative.
In commemoration of the occasion, a special event was held at the Rajkharsawan railway station.
Citizens present were able to watch the foundation stone laying ceremony online and listen to the Prime Minister’s address.
Union Minister Arjun Munda graced the event as the chief guest, and Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagarai was present as a special guest.
Expressing his gratitude towards the Prime Minister and Railway Minister, Union Minister Munda appreciated the selection of Rajkharsawan and other Jharkhand railway stations for the Amrit Railway Station project.
He also spoke about future plans for the renovation of Sini railway station and revealed the proposal for a railway wheel project in Jharkhand, costing INR 40.73 thousand crore.
Further, the Union Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to development plans and modernization of railway stations for improved passenger convenience.
Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagarai also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Government of India, praising the initiative as greatly beneficial to local residents.
