Parsudih police arrest two in car financing fraud case

Jamshedpur: The Parsudih police have arrested two accused, father and son, in connection with a case of cheating in the name of financing a car. The accused, M Yadav and his father D Yadav, were arrested after several victims filed complaints with the police.

According to Sanjay Mahato, a resident of Makdampur Munshi locality, he was promised a car by the accused for one-and-a-half years, and he had paid Rs 1.5 lakh towards it.

However, when the car was not delivered, he suspected fraud and filed a complaint with the police.

After the incident came to light, several other victims also reached the Parsudih police station and filed written complaints.

They alleged that both the accused had cheated them of lakhs of rupees in the name of financing a car.

The police have taken the matter seriously and are conducting an investigation.

They have taken everyone’s papers, but no one has been given a car.

The police believe that this is not the first time such a case has come to light in the Parsudih area.

In the past too, similar cases of fraud have been reported in the name of financing cars.

The Parsudih police are urging the public to remain cautious while dealing with such financial transactions and to verify the authenticity of the transactions before making any payments.

The police have assured that they will take all necessary steps to bring the culprits to justice and prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
