Nand Gopal Tripathy, brother of Congress candidate K. N. Tripathy from the Chatra Lok Sabha seat, has filed a police case following a clash with alleged RJD supporters during the Ulgulan Nyay Maharally in Ranchi.
RANCHI – A recent scuffle at the Ulgulan Nyay Maharally in Ranchi led to Nand Gopal Tripathy, brother of Congress candidate K. N. Tripathy, filing a case at Dhurwa police station.
The clash involved alleged RJD supporters who disrupted the rally demanding a change in the Congress nominee for the Chatra Lok Sabha seat.
As tensions escalated, RJD supporters allegedly began snatching placards from Congress members, including Tripathy, resulting in physical altercations between the two groups.
The complaint specifically names Prabhu Dayal Yadav among others involved in the incident.
This confrontation has intensified the political strife between the Congress and RJD supporters in the area, reflecting deeper undercurrents of dissent within the alliance.
