Jharkhand’s Maiyan Samman Yojana Faces Technical Glitches on First Day

Jharkhand’s new Maiyan Samman Yojana, aimed at providing pensions to women aged 21 to 49, faced technical difficulties on the first day, leaving many applicants disappointed.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand government launched the Maiyan Samman Yojana to provide a monthly pension of ₹1000 to women aged 21 to 49.

From August 3 to August 10, camps were set up across the state to collect applications from eligible women.

However, on the first day, technical glitches prevented the submission of forms, leading to frustration among the applicants.

In various camps across Jamshedpur, applicants faced issues with form submissions due to technical problems.

Some beneficiaries complained about the unavailability of forms, while others reported that despite standing in long queues since morning, they could not submit their applications.

Anganwadi worker Rekha Rani, who is responsible for overseeing the application process, confirmed that the technical issues caused the disruption and assured that forms would be accepted once the problems are resolved.

The initiative aims to support women by providing them with a steady monthly pension.

The government is working to rectify the technical issues to ensure the smooth processing of applications in the coming days.
