Orientation Day at Manipal Tata Medical College Inspires New Allied Health Sciences Students

At the much-anticipated Orientation Day-2023–24, the Allied Health Sciences Department at Manipal Tata Medical College warmly welcomes its new batch of students, promoting lifelong learning and commitment in healthcare.

JAMSHEDPUR – Marking a memorable beginning for new students, Manipal Tata Medical College hosted an informative and motivating Orientation Day-2023–24 for the incoming batch of the Allied Health Sciences Department.

Dr. Maheshwar Prasad, the administrative head of AHS, concluded the ceremony with a vote of thanks, prompting students to strive for their academic goals while treating others with compassion and ethics.

A variety of insightful lectures were included in the orientation’s agenda, with esteemed visitors providing a deep dive into the college’s cutting-edge facilities, academic and examination policies, code of conduct, and other matters pertaining to student life.

The institution’s esteemed dean, Dr. G Pradeep Kumar, extended a warm welcome to the students, highlighting the pivotal role allied health professionals hold in the healthcare system, and urged the newcomers to bring positive change in patient’s lives through their chosen specialisations.

Dr. Rajiva Dwivedi, the Guest of Honour and the Director of Academic Administration and Quality, motivated students with his lecture, underscoring the college’s commitment to developing competent and empathetic allied health practitioners, and urging them to cultivate a love for lifelong learning and research.

The orientation day began with a formal inauguration ceremony, where the keynote speaker, P. Yashwanth Kumar, director of the allied health programme, addressed the freshers, along with other distinguished luminaries such as Dr. G Pradeep Kumar and Dr. Rajiva Dwivedi.

The Orientation Day-2023–24 proved to be an exhilarating introduction for the new class of Allied Health Sciences students at Manipal Tata Medical College, promising dedicated support from faculty and staff in their journey towards excellence in healthcare.
