Major Clean-Up Drive in Adityapur Municipal Corporation’s Ward 32 Underway

The deteriorating condition of Road Nos. 17 and 18 and the sewage and drainage system in Ward 32 prompts a thorough clean-up effort led by the Adityapur Municipal Corporation.

JAMSHEDPUR – For the past four days, Ward 32 of Adityapur Municipal Corporation has been the site of an intensive cleaning initiative to remedy the deteriorating conditions of Road Nos. 17 and 18, as well as its sewage and drainage systems.

Social worker Biju Yadav initiated the clean-up effort, which was then further pushed by Surendra Narayan Singh, the leader of the initiative and former vice president of the Adityapur Municipal Corporation. Singh stated that he is well aware of the problem since it affects his own area and pledged to put every effort into making it an excellent Ward.

The city officials, including Girija Shankar Prasad, the administrator/deputy municipal commissioner, and Lemanshu Kumar, the city manager, were informed about the appalling state of the road.

On Wednesday, Lemanshu Kumar, along with sanitation department officials Ravindra Ram, Shekhar Kumar, and Shambhu Jherai, visited the area to inspect the ongoing cleaning efforts and provided the necessary instructions to the managers and sanitation workers.

Lemanshu Kumar also appealed to the locals to maintain the cleanliness of the city. He implored residents not to litter public areas and streets, and to dispose of their household trash in the designated containers. He underscored the importance of door-to-door waste collection and asked for the residents’ cooperation in the initiative.

He expressed gratitude to Biju Yadav, lawyer Sanjay Kumar, Subhash Kumar Singh, Mani Kumar, Vicky, and others for their unwavering support to Surendra Narayan Singh and the Adityapur Municipal Corporation team in carrying out the cleaning drive in Road No. 17/18 after a significant period of neglect.
