Late yesterday evening, two young women were seen fleeing after snatching a woman’s purse and mobile. However, one woman managed to apprehend one of the thieves.

The road transformed into a battlefield as the thief was fiercely beaten, attracting a crowd of onlookers.

The thief had stolen a purse and a mobile phone and was masquerading as a member of a well-to-do family. Such appearances are merely a façade.

The female thief gang is particularly active in Jamshedpur, preying on the busy, congested areas of the city.

The fleeing thief, who hails from Mango, was eventually cornered.

The thief pleaded for leniency, claiming her innocence and vowing not to repeat her actions.

Nevertheless, the woman from whom the purse and chain were stolen was not appeased.

She had lost Rs. 5000 and her mobile phone in the incident.

Upon hearing news of the arrest, Sakchi police arrived at the scene and apprehended three female thieves.

They were taken to the police station for further interrogation.
