Tata Steel’s Summer Camp 2023 Set to Enthrall City’s Children with Diverse Sports and Activities

Tata Steel Summer Camp 2023 offers diverse sports, awareness sessions & activities for city’s children at JRD Tata Sports Complex & other locations.

Jamshedpur – Tata Steel’s Sports Department is all set to organize Summer Camp 2023, an action-packed program for the city’s children from May 12-30, 2023.

The camp will be held at JRD Tata Steel Sports Complex and expanded to four other locations to encourage greater participation.

The multi-disciplinary summer camp will offer a host of sports training, ranging from swimming and horse riding to cricket, hockey, and roller-skating, among others.

In addition to the main venue, special camps will be organized at various locations.

Hockey enthusiasts can attend a camp at Naval Tata Hockey Academy, while those in more remote locations like Gamharia can join a satellite summer camp at TGS Colony.

Adventure-loving children can enjoy a water sports camp at Dimna, organized by Tata Steel Adventure Foundation.

Aqua Zumba sessions for children aged 18 years and above will also be arranged at United Club.

This year, the summer camp will include awareness sessions on menstruation, road and fire safety, good touch and bad touch, nutrition, and careers in sports.

Parents will also have the opportunity to participate in sensitization sessions on various topics, fostering a stronger bond with their children.

From May 19-21, a fitness fair will be held for children and parents, featuring healthy food, graffiti wall painting, and adventure zones.

Emphasizing sustainable development, the Summer Camp will teach children how to make and build Eco-Bricks.

Enrollment fees for different sporting camps vary from Rs 300 to Rs 1500.
