Tata Steel Summer Camp 2024 Commences with Excitement and High Spirits

22 sporting disciplines attract students, youth, and parents for a fun-filled experience

The much-awaited Tata Steel Summer Camp 2024 was inaugurated today by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. The camp, scheduled to run from May 11 to 31, is set to witness enthusiastic participation from students, youth, and their parents across 22 sporting disciplines.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Steel Summer Camp 2024 kicked off with great fervor and excitement at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Inaugurated by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, the camp promises to be a thrilling experience for participants of all ages, offering a wide range of sporting activities and opportunities for personal growth.

The participants, along with their parents, are brimming with enthusiasm and eagerly looking forward to learning new skills and engaging in fun-filled activities.

The camp provides an excellent platform for the city’s youth to socialize, enjoy their summer holidays meaningfully, and create lasting memories with their peers.

Designed to promote fitness, wellness, and a healthy lifestyle among the participants, the summer camp has attracted a dedicated team of over 150 expert coaches and volunteers from the Tata Steel Sports Department.

Their expertise and commitment ensure that the participants receive top-notch training and guidance throughout the duration of the camp.

Children aged 6 to 19 have the opportunity to explore and engage in a diverse range of sports disciplines, including Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Golf, Handball, Horse Riding, Karate, Kabaddi, Roller Skate/Roll Ball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Football, Zumba, Yoga, Hockey (at Naval Tata Hockey Academy), and Volleyball.

This extensive lineup caters to various interests and skill levels, ensuring that every participant finds a sport that resonates with them.

The strategic scheduling of the Summer Camp during school summer vacations is expected to boost participation significantly.

Parents can also join in the fun by registering for Yoga and Zumba classes, while additional activities and sessions designed for parents, guardians, and children are interspersed throughout the camp.

Recreational activities at Nicco Park & Tata Steel Zoological Park add an extra layer of excitement and entertainment to the overall experience.
