Jamshedpur: A youth, Suraj Kalindi, 40, was shot late Friday night by a bike-riding criminal. The attacker managed to escape after firing at the victim.
Dobo is a village in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district adjacent to Jamshedpur.
Suraj Kalindi lives there with his family.
The shooter fled the area after firing at Suraj Kalindi and injuring him seriously.
Suraj was rushed to TMH by his family for emergency medical care.
He is stated to be in a serious condition right now.
The attack took place when Suraj was at his house, said Sunil Bhokta, who is the officer in charge of Kapali OP.
He said that the assailant rode up on a bike, summoned Suraj outside, and opened fire on him while they were chatting.
The case is being investigated by the police.
