Congressmen burn effigy of Amit Shah at Sakchi, condemn Govt action against Rahul Gandhi
Jamshedpur: Responding to the call of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee the Jamshedpur district unit of Congress today burnt the effigy of Union Home Minsiter Amit Shah at Sakchi Roundabout.
District President Anand Bihari Dubey presided over the effigy burning program.
He said that the administration has been creating pressure at the residence of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for the past several days as per the directives of BJP Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that it is well-known that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been exposing the actions of the Modi government and its nexus with the Adani Group.
He added, in view of this, an attempt has been made to use the administration to scare Rahul Gandhi.
He said that if the BJP government wants to hide the exploits of the Adani group, then the Congress party will come out on the streets and discuss the matter with the general public. The State General Secretary Vijay Khan said that it is Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who is checking the misdemeanor of the Modi government.
He said that Congress has been exposing the misuse of funds of LIC, SBI by the central government. It is for these reasons that the BJP is determined to misuse the government machinery, he said.
Those who were present in the effigy burning included the district President Anand Bihari Dubey, State General Secretary Vijay Khan, State Secretary KK Shukla, State Members Riyazuddin Khan, Awadhesh Singh, Bharat Yatri Amarjit Nath Mishra, Congress leaders Subodh Singh Sardar, Brijendra Tiwari, Sanjay Singh Azad, State General Secretary of Youth Congress Rakesh and others.
