RANCHI – Dense fog and cold weather conditions continued across Jharkhand, particularly in northern and central areas. Visibility in Ranchi dropped to a minimum of 1000 meters, impacting daily activities.

No rainfall was recorded in the last 24 hours. Sarai Kela registered the highest maximum temperature at 30.5°C, while Dhanbad recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 10.5°C. Ranchi and Jamshedpur reported temperatures of 26.0°C and 28.6°C, respectively.

Dense fog persisted in parts of Latehar, Lohardaga, and Palamu on Day 1. No rainfall activity is expected statewide. For Day 2, districts such as Gumla and Khunti are likely to see continued foggy conditions during early morning hours.
