Union Home Minister Amit Shah Champions NDA in Bihar

Amit Shah rallies support in Bihar for NDA, urging a clean sweep in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and attacking the opposition for neglecting backward classes.

PATNA – The Home Minister expressed his aspirations for NDA to win all 40 seats in Bihar for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections. 

He condemned Lalu Yadav and Congress for perpetuating Article 370 in Kashmir, crediting Modi for its abrogation. 

Amit Shah criticized the opposition for land encroachment, promising action against the land mafia. 

He highlighted the establishment of a double engine government in Bihar to address such issues. 

Shah lambasted RJD and Congress for their stance on the backward classes, asserting BJP’s commitment to their welfare. 

He accused the opposition of suppressing the Mandal Commission report and opposing the OBC Commission. 

The Home Minister applauded Narendra Modi for acknowledging Karpoori Thakur with the Bharat Ratna. 

He emphasized the BJP’s initiatives for the backward and extremely backward classes under Modi’s leadership. 

Shah targeted nepotism in the opposition, particularly focusing on the ambitions of Sonia Gandhi and Lalu Yadav for their progeny. 

In his address, he reminisced about Bihar’s historical significance and praised its leaders. 

The event saw a large turnout, organized by the BJP OBC Morcha in Paliganj. 

Shah’s visit to Bihar marked his first since the NDA’s formation, with a clear focus on the upcoming electoral battle.
