Vaccination of children of 15 to 18 age group begins in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: In the midst of the increasing infection of Corona, from Monday, January 3, even children of 15 to 18 years were started giving corona vaccine.

In Jamshedpur city of Jharkhand, tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the children regarding this vaccination.

From morning itself, children started gathering at eight permanent centers set up by the district administration in the urban area. Some children came alone and some with parents. Most of them had already registered themselves. On-spot registration of some children took place at the permanent centre.

The target of vaccination of 20 thousand children has been set on the first day. Eight permanent vaccine centers have been set up in urban areas and 10 in rural areas.

Apart from these permanent centers, special arrangements have also been made for the schools of the city. Children will be vaccinated through mobile vans in the school from where slots of 20 students will be given.

The children who arrived at the XLRI auditorium on the day to take the vaccine, told themselves comfortable after taking the vaccine.

The children said that the government has taken a good initiative. It feels good to have a vaccine. Other children should also come forward to take the vaccine.
