Rain with thunderstorms likely in many districts of Jharkhand, yellow alert

Ranchi: East and West Singhbhum, Seraikela, Simdega, Dhanbad and several other districts are likely to witness rainfall and lightning during the next 24 hours. It has been sunny in Jharkhand on Thursday. The sky is also completely clear till noon.

But this does not mean that the weather will be normal for the next 24 hours.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in many districts today.

Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that on Thursday also in the state East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda and Pakur may receive light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning. can.

At the same time, strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30-40 km per hour.

In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these districts.

Earlier on Wednesday also, light to moderate rain was recorded in various districts of the state. The capital Ranchi received three mm of rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the cyclonic disturbance that has formed over Uttar Pradesh is extending up to West Bengal. Due to this there is little change in the weather.

However, from June 3, the weather is likely to remain dry in the state.

On Wednesday, the highest rainfall was recorded in the Ranchi’s Mandar at 67 mm.

The highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Medininagar at 37.8 degrees Celsius. The lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Ramgarh at 20.5 degree Celsius.
