Tata Steel Apprentice aspirants create ruckus, allege anomalies

Hundreds of aspirants of Tata Steel Apprentice Examination created a ruckus in front of SNTI in Bistupur and alleged anomalies. They demanded that answer sheets and marks be sent to examinees.

Jamshedpur: Hundreds of Tata Steel Apprentice aspirants who were not selected in the examination created a ruckus in front of SNTI, Bistupur and alleged anomalies in the results.

On Tuesday, hundreds of candidates who had written the Tata Steel Apprentice Examination and were not selected created an uproar.

Tata Steel had conducted the online apprentice exam for the aspirants.

About 24000 candidates from the city had participated in the examination.

However, only 900 of them were successful as per the criteria of the examination.

Many candidates. who were not included in the selected list, reached SNTI and created a ruckus.

The candidates demanded that mark sheets along with the answer sheets of the examination be sent to them, so that they can get information as to why they were unsuccessful.

In view of the uproar caused by the examinees, the management called the police force and also pressed into service the security guards of the company.

The examinee was barred from entering the SNTI campus.

This further infuriated the candidates.

Many of the candidates alleged anomalies in the examination and called it a sham.

Aspirants of Tata Steel Apprentice Examination created a ruckus at SNTI alleging irregularities in results and demanding that answer sheets be sent to them.
