Mega Walk-in Vaccination Camp till 10 p.m. in Keenan Stadium from Monday

Corona vaccine will be available in Keenan Stadium from Monday in walk-in mode from 3 pm to 10 pm. There will be separate queues for women, elderly and disabled in this mega walk-in vaccination camp.

Jamshedpur: With a view to promoting the vaccination campaign and achieving maximum possible numbers in East Singhbhum district, a mega vaccination camp will start at Keenan Stadium from Monday.

The district administration has completed all the preparations for this mega camp that will run on walk-in mode.

People will be able to take vaccine in the camp from 3 pm to 10 pm.

There will be separate queues for women, elderly and disabled too to ensure that people do not have to wait long for vaccination.

Keeping in view the convenience of the beneficiaries coming to the vaccination center, arrangements have been made for drinking water and toilets too.

This walk-in vaccination camp would run till 10 p.m. to ensure that people returning from offices in the evening can benefit from it and get vaccinated easily.

Sandeep Kumar Meena, senior in-charge of Vaccination Cell, said that adequate number of Covid vaccines are available in the district.

He said that adequate supply is being ensured at the state level.

He said that seeing the availability of vaccines, district administration wants to operate as many centers as possible to ensure that maximum number of eligible persons get vaccinated at the earliest.

He said that according to the demand of the local people, new centers are being operated so that there is no overcrowding at any centre.

To ensure that the beneficiaries do not face any inconvenience in vaccination different facilities would be kept available.

The SDO said that the Vaccine Center will be operated at Keenan Stadium till 10 p.m. which will facilitate vaccination of labourers or others returning from office in the evening.

He appealed to the beneficiaries to use masks and keep following social distancing.
